Our Programs

In today’s fast-paced culinary world, chefs need to have the know-how and a broader set of hands-on skills that are based on scientific knowledge about food, temperatures, cooking methods, and new trends. To satisfy these requirements for stakeholders in the industry (fine dining restaurants and five star hotels), and future professional chefs, we offer a wide array of culinary programs for people with varying educational backgrounds and career aspirations.

All programs are delivered by RACA and are recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Jordan as an academic degree, or as a training program when the academic requirement are not satisfied.

Bachelor Degree in Food & Beverage Management

The Food and Beverage (F&B) Management bachelor degree at RACA combines between culinary arts and hospitality management, with two years allocated to each. F&B Management is a segment of hospitality that focuses on operations in restaurants, hotels, resorts, catering companies, hospitals, hotels, and more. It includes the business side of food-related operations, such as ordering and inventory, planning and costing menus, and managing budgets, in addition to marketing as well as managing staff and resources.

  • Recognize and interpret the different trends, challenges, and scenarios in the hospitality and tourism industries.
  • Explain the foundation and conceptual framework of hospitality businesses, from operational to managerial perspectives.
  • Explain the role and impacts of businesses in the development of environmental, social, and financial sustainability.
  • Analyze human psychology in decision making, career development, and business management.

 

 

Two-Year Diploma in Culinary Arts

 

The Two-year Diploma program in Culinary Arts prepares students to enter junior chef positions in five-star hotel with the hands- on craftsmanship, solid scientific knowledge, and business communication skills to start a career journey in the culinary and hospitality sectors.


  • Ideal for ambitious undergraduate students who successfully passed high school or Tawjihi who are keen to build a career or start their own business.
  • Addresses the passion for students who prefer hands- on, dynamic programs.
  • Full-time, two-year degree program.
  • Includes hands-on culinary courses, specialized culinary academic subjects, and one real working environment internship in five-star hotels in Jordan or abroad.


 

 

 

Two-Year Professional Diploma in Culinary Arts


The Two-year Professional Diploma program in Culinary Arts prepares students to enter junior chef positions in five-star hotel with the hands- on craftsmanship, solid knowledge, and business communication skills to start a career journey in the culinary and hospitality sectors.


  • Ideal for ambitious students who were not fortunate to pass high school or Tawjihi or whose international high school certificate had no equivalency from the Ministry of Higher Education and is keen to build a career or start their own business.
  • Addresses the passion for students who prefer hands- on, dynamic programs.
  • Includes hands-on culinary courses, specialized culinary academic subjects, and one real working environment internship in five-star hotels in Jordan or abroad.


 

 

 

 

 

One-Year Professional Diploma in Culinary Arts


The One-Year Professional Diploma program in Culinary Arts prepares students to explore the culinary field by addressing the demand of having a short program (One Year).


  • This program makes them qualified to start a career in the hospitality industry or have the fundamentals to start a home-based business in the food catering field.
  • Ideal for ambitious students who were not fortunate to pass high school or Tawjihi and is keen to explore the culinary world
    Full-time, one-year degree program.
    Includes hands-on culinary courses and some culinary academic subjects.
