Graphic Designer

Generic Responsibilities (Max 10):

  1. Participating in presenting new ideas, campaigns, as part of the marketing team.
  2. Maintain the confidentiality of any confidential information received.
  3. Designing visual concepts using graphic design tools including design software.
  4. Coordinates all administrative aspects of production, including preparing final designs for presentation, checking and approving color, copy,text format separations, and scaling images for print production. Ensures that all parties are informed of and meet deadlines.
  5. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  6. Incorporate changes recommended by the team or line manager into final designs
  7. Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them.
  8. Create the graphic materials by using technology, including computer software programs. Adobe’s Creative Suite—including Photoshop,Illustrator, InDesign, after effect and more—is the standard in the industry and most employers expect designers to be proficient with its programs.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Design, production, and layout of email distributions, microsites, digital banners (for internal and external platforms and websites like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts website), and print any related publications thereof.
  2. Create and maintain marketing materials and update advertising and content in advertising media including websites, and print advertising.
  3. Design materials such as brochures, ads, leaflets, booth designs, brand identity material.
  4. Rebranding and creating new sustainable image for the Academy on social media platforms.
  5. Providing photoshoots sessions, video shoots, and motion graphic when needed.
  6. Cover the events created by the Academy when needed.
  7. Interior consultation for the renovation of the Academy’s premises.
  8. Work with printers and outside resources as needed.
  9. Maintain graphic files and libraries for marketing, external supplier and agencies.
  10. Create ad hoc marketing pieces as needed (i.e., sales collateral, surveys, postcards).
  11. Complete projects and tasks related to team projects on time with the digital marketing person.
  12. Manage multiple deadlines, complete all duties and tasks on schedule as assigned, performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
  13. Generate reports about the position activities, challenges, ideas, achievements, when needed.
