For the safety of our students and employees upon their return to the Academy, the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts done all the hygiene procedures for all the departments inside and outside the Academy In cooperation with the Greater Amman Municipality.
During Ramadan, and COVID-19 pandemic our amazing chefs of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts shared and cooked three recipes every day from their home. Also, The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts made a competition which is to ”guess the tips” that’s shown in the video, the winner will be announced at the end of Ramadan.
RACA celebrated its Graduation 2019 ceremony on Wednesday (6 November 2019), honoring the achievements of 103 students under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Alaa Batayneh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD), and H.E. Mr. Lukas Gasser the Ambassador of Switzerland to Jordan, with the presence of H.E. Dr. Wajeeh Oweis, Chairman of RACA’s Board of Trustees.
This tenth graduation ceremony was held at the King Hussein Business Park Auditorium, and was followed by a cocktail reception prepared and served by our students.
The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts was honored on Tuesday 19 November with the special visit of Mayor of Amman, H.E. Dr. Yousef Shawarbeh to the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts with the presence of H.E Mr. Alaa Batayneh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD). The visit included a tour in RACA’s campus with RACA’s Director and his deputy, where the guests learned about the academic programs at RACA and also met few students at the reception lunch that was prepared and served by RACA’s students. The purpose of this visit is to get to know RACA; as it is an educational institution that supports Jordanian youth and provides the industry with internationally qualified Jordanian work force

The Minister of Industry and Trade of Norway Visit
The Minister of Trade and Industry of Norway Ms.Iselin Nybø visited The Royal Academy Of Culinary Arts on Sunday 1 March 2020 as her first visit to Royal Academy of Culinary Arts. This visit is among the visits of the economic and political delegation accompanying the Norwegian King and Queen on their State Visit to Jordan. RACA’s Director Chef Jacques Rossel accompanied the Minister in a tour at RACA to introduce her to the various academic facilities in addition she attended a workshop about the Norwegian food with the academy’s students.
A chocolate workshop given by our Chef Mohammad Al-Zubaidi, students learned about temperature methods, how to color chocolate, experimenting with nougat and nuts, coating techniques, presentation and molding, as they were also able to prepare different types of fillings! Well done RACAteers!
In collaboration with the Blood Bank Directorate – Ministry of health, RACA’s Nurse & Health Counselor, Ms. Tahani Tayeh, organized a Blood Donation Drive which took place at the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts today on the 20th of January 2020 where students, faculty and staff participated in the Blood Donation Day.

The Holy Land Institute for Deaf & Deaf-blind visit
The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts received a group of deaf trainees participating in the founding course for teaching culinary arts, and the working group in the “Eat and Sign” cafeteria section of the Blind Lands Foundation for the Deaf and Deaf Blind, in order to complement the institution’s role in training and qualifying deaf trainees to teach culinary arts and hotel service. The students reviewed the training methods and their various applications, and concluded their tour by eating lunch at the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts.
The new Belgium Ambassador to Jordan His Excellency Filip Vanden Bulcke visited The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts on Monday 9 December 2019 as it is the ambassador’s first visit to RACA since his appointment recently.
RACA’s Director Chef Jacques Rossel accompanied the Ambassador in a tour at RACA to introduce him to the various academic facilities in addition to the academic programs offered to the academy’s students.
